How much roughly do you think it will cost to have an alternator belt fitted on a MK2 Seat Ibiza??

I am having one fitted tomorrow and just wanted to know a rough price

Cheers

Assuming that the bolts to slacken the alternator are easy to get at the job will take mere minutes and so the cost should be nominal. However with the price of the belt, the time spent peering at the engine as though it's a warp drive off a star ship then looking for the right size spanner or socket to release one bolt slightly possibly two, then fit the new belt and tension it, then run the engine to make sure it's not slipping, I'd be curious to know what they dare charge for this so let us know.

If you live anywhere near Crookes pop round to mine and I will do it for nothing, a two minute job. And I won't even complain when I have lost all the skin off my knuckles!

Drop me a pm if you are interested.

ps I'm not a loony! I know cos I've got a note from my mum!
