I can see around 6/7 at any time, including 2 of those shared BTFOn/bt openzone ones. No businesses or shops near me so all are home users. 4 WPA rest wap or no protection.

Anyone else see alot?

I can usually see anything from 5 to 8, including one unsecured one.

Four, all protected. One comes up with with the users Christian name rather than the router name - that'll be our friend just opposite with the border terriers then

Earth. Protected. 78% signal
basis-wlan2. Protected. 45% signal
doctorpoop. Unprotected. 32% signal
WLAN_CONNY. Protected. 44% signal This network uses the password CONNY and has 1.5 GB of naked ladies in its Limewire shared folder.

(I'm not in Sheff)

Don't name your router in such a way that it gives away your personal information folks!
Ditto for your router password.
Don't transmit your SSID. Turn it off.

And people wonder why I have wires running behind skirting boards and under carpets all through my house

30m Ethernet cable = £10 and you keep true 100Mbs transfer rates.
No encryption needed.
No wireless dongles.

Wires ftw! (lol - Unless you have a laptop that is)
