Okay I've owned an african grey now for quite awhile, never shuts up and is pretty smart can say the words "Shut the **** up" because thats what me mother says when it wont shut up, and my name.

But lately it's been acting weird.
It wont let anybody else go near it but me.. and when i do go near and am stroking / playing with her she'll like start twisting her neck and bringing up what looks like food, or something white, anyone know why this is? :S

My lovebird does that, he's regurgitating food (he has lots of behaviour problems and I see it as one of his quirks). To put your mind at rest i'd get her checked out by the vet. Hope that helps

I think it means he is in love with you. Anyone else showing you affection may be attacked as he wants you all to himself.
