Anyone help regarding an old song?

There was this song that a Miss Cod taught all the infants for generations at Crookes Endowed School (she taught my grandmother, my father and myself ! And she knew EVERYONE in Crookes – this was in the early forties).

It began:

Eeh!, a’wud like to gi’thi a nice cuppa tea – if tha’d ony come on’t reight day: Tha mun’t come on a Monday – cus it’s weshin day; Tha mun’t …etc.

I’d be grateful if anyone could give me all the words, as I’ve been trying to remember them for decades. (It goes through the days of the week.).

I've got all the words to that song in a book called Sheffieldish-A Beginners Phrase Book. It's Untitled and there's no author credited.
If you've not got them already, drop us an email and I'll send 'em.

They don't write 'em like that anymore.
Wonder when the golden age of lyric-writing ended.

Anyone know what tune they sang it to?
Most of these type of songs are sung to a well known tune.
