I grew up on Parson cross we moved to Yew Lane in 1961 when I was 3 years old I went to Mansel infants, Mansel juniors then on to Yewlands .I have many happy memories of
my time there and still have a few mates that live on the estate , I used to ride my bike
round the track that Bushbaby and his mates made (didnt know at the time that he was
responsible for it) Me Nigel Cawthorne and Martin Lee also played football on the grass that was in the middle of it there wasnt a blade of grass on the track for years .
Bushbaby is telling the truth about Mick Smiths Van I remember it well (I knocked about with Young Wriggo ) You were quite a character in them days Bushbaby do you remember a new Chinese take-away on Chaucer Road and a song by Ray Stevens called
"The Streak", Were You barred from said take-away?
