Well I got a very slightly receding hairline. Nothing major. I want to stop any further hairloss. I struggle enough with my looks without having the burden of male pattern hair loss.
Any males (or females for that matter) got any advice? or people to see in Sheffield?
I already got an appointment with Dr Ruth Murphy who is a dermatologist. But I am thinking of cancelling that (cos it was private) and waiting to see her on NHS. In the meantime just about the only 'clinic' I would trust is Philip Kingsley's down in West London.
2hr appointments which covers the cost of treatment is like £190 - ouch. However, I wasn't keen on seeing Dr Murphy here in Sheffield for £150 privately to have a 2 minute conversation, where she says "uk" available prescription drugs are
1) finasteride
2) minoxidil
end of convo.
I want to go to Kingsley's clinic cos in a book I was reading, they say that their preparations of topical anti-androgenic medicine halts further hairloss. Or maybe they are just nothing more than a cowboy clinic like all the rest (except with a posh clinic in West London).
