HOT LIPZ 10 #1 Posted March 14, 2009 Can anyone with a pre payment meter tell me how much their heating costs for an hour (average) Mine takes nearly £1 and I can't keep up with the meter. It's taken £24 in a week and the heating hasn't been on that much. Just had a new system fitted too thats supposed to be economical. I've also tried the comparison sites and can't find a cheaper provider. I'm with EDF at the mo.
 Share this content via...

HOT LIPZ 10 #9 Posted March 15, 2009 yer i am paying abou 30 pound a week on edf but edf do charge u standing charge for using there prepaymen meter so british gas have told me i have water and heating on from 6-am til 9am and 6pm til 10pm i am sick of topping up my meter When I was with British Gas there was apparently no standing charge but I found out that money was comeing off it and british Gas said that the money wasn't going to them but the company that owned the meter? Also with them, They didn't update my meter when the electricity went up so months later when they realised they put it on my meter as a debt.
