my partner and i have seen a property we would like to buy together. the house where we live at the moment is officially only mine, so we would like to get a joint mortgage on the new property

the only problem is, this will be the first time i've moved house (as a homeowner) and i'm unsure of how process works. the new house we have seen has no vendor chain, but ours isn't even advertised yet. obviously we don't want to let the house we want slip away waiting until ours is on the market

can anyone offer any advice?

thanks

either phone a estate agent or a solicitor who deals in house stuff they should give you the basics
