Anyone tell me should these work basicly as plug n play ??????

as in, usb joypad from a playstation 2? didnt know they made em to be honest, anyway most joypads work as plug and play i think ive never come across one that didnt, some mite need drivers depending on the buttons

Think id better reword this should the ps2 joypad on the origenal ps2 just plug in to the ps2 usb and away you go.

still a little confused , of course a ps2 pad will work on a ps2 as plug and play lol u sure ur not getting mixed up somewhere?

also ps2 pads arent USB as far as im aware o.0 they have the big playstation connector thingy ma bobber

Im having to go on what my mate has told me tonight hes just bought a ps2 usb joypad says so on packet as well but dosnt work said id have a look for him as it has some other issues but ive never actually connected a pad to the usb you can put keyboard and mouse in as well just trying to find out if he,s missing somthing maybe in ps2 setting or if it should just plug n play i know what you mean the big plug tye but can assure you it is usb cabled for ps2 lol

riiight, i didnt know you could connect pads to the usb ports on the ps2, tought it would only support the ps2/ps1 pads with the big connection, u sure he hasnt bought a pad that is for the pc and is called a ps2 usb pad, as i have one of theese and they do look just like a ps2 pad ? if not then i cant help sorry.

theres a thought but i doubt it very much he did ask for a genuine sony playstation 2 pad but they only had these ones left so i doubt it very much.

sure hes not bought a PS3 pad as they have a USB cable to charge them ..

nope i got ps3 its not one of those its a fixed cable like i say do,s state compatable with ps2 i cant remember if theres any settings regarding usb on the ps2 but at the moent he recons it lights up but dosnt function in anyway.
