Nice

My house was lit up with an errie Pink/Purple glow - was only when I looked out that I twigged what it was.

As I was travelling from Rotherham towards Chappeltown the sunset was unbelievable, by the time I got home it was too late, it had gone.

Hmm..that's what I get for putting up bathroom fittings all afternoon

I knew there was a good reason that I never normally do household things...now I know why!

I'm staying at my mum and dad's and thought it was beautiful here, but up north it wasn't nearly as red.

I took a few photos, but left the USB cable back in Sheffield. Will try remember to upload them sometime this week.

The photos on here look fab though.

0742Shef - what camera do you have? Just getting into photography and wondered whether you're using just a normal camera or if you have a special one (you can tell I don't know the technical terms yet!)

I've got a Samsung with 15megapixels but it's still not that amazing for photos like these! Think I need to play with the settings!

I use a super zoom compact mostly. It is classed as a bridge camera between the traditional compact and a DSLR.

It was like something from a sci-fi film wasn’t it, had to be seen to be believed.

These are a slightly different perspective as they were taken in the north-east instead of Sheffield. I spent ages playing with the camera settings, and I've a few shots that I want to try and create a HDR from, but don't have to do that this evening!
