Hi,
A parcel has been sent to me on the 11th Feb and I haven't recieved it as yet. I live in a flat so if they have been today to deliver it they wouldn't have been able to get in the bottom doors or able to leave a card. (I have looked downstairs and there has been no card shoved under the main door)
I have waited in since last weds for this parcel and had to go out today.
So.....does anyone have the phone number for the sorting office there and does anyone happen to know the opening times?

Many Thanks in Advance!

Thanks!
The reason I'm wondering on opening times is because I planned to ring early then take a trip down there with baby to pick it up if it's there. But then if I ring early enough I suppose I can ask them opening times.

I had a package from Amazon the other day it was lying on my door mat when I came home with the scribble 'Signed for by the Postman' on it. (Woodseats Sorting Office)
Is this permissible or legal ?
I did get the package in one piece - perhaps he was doing me a favour - whaddya think ?

i am a postie.if i come to your flat with a parcel and i couldn't get in the bottom door to either deliver or issue a card i would write the card out and go back to the office and give the card to your regular footman. presumably he can get in (otherwise how do you get your mail?) so he would deliver you the card with your regular post.

He/She can only get in if the doors are unlocked

If the doors are locked the mail is delayed for yet another day...and peeps have cheek to complain about delayed mail!?!?!

between 7a.m. and 12.00
I've been trying for 3 days to get someone to answer the phone at Royal Mail Delivery Office at Mansfield road, over 30 attempts- it's either engaged or ignored.

Not good enough.

There is a back log in the main mail centre, machines broken, you should get them by next week, if not then i suggest you call customer services.
