Hi everybody ... on the grass verge next to Sherde Road, at the bottom of Daniel Hill Street, is a Concrete Settee ... does anybody know anything about it?

These would appear to be very rare indeed. A Google search for "concrete settee" only yields 8 results!

That's without the speech marks, thus not searching for the exact phrase. This thread is now found too.

Many thanks cgksheff ... once again somebody on the Forum comes up with the answer. Sadly four times as many people can only reply with peurile humour ... seems to be a reflection of life in general ... if I had wanted a humorous answer I would have asked the question in a humorous way. No doubt you will respond again as you will (no doubt) be wanting to see how impressed people were with your wit. Get back somme kudos by answering the question ... why does the 'u' move place in the words Humour and Humorous ?

I was genuinely surprised by the thread title that I had to Google it. I've never heard of a concrete settee - maybe I've had a sheltered life? That's all! Glad you solved the mystery anyway

It's a sofa, not a settee. Settees are working class.
