Who said you weren't allowed any?
Do we have to carry around our credentials in order to get a bucket of grit now?

the council turned up at ours today in Woodseats and filled the grit bin - didn't even have to ask.
I see you are S11 - I was at a mates on Sat in Hunters Bar and the grit bin there was full...

I was going to nick a bit of grit to put on my drive - saw loads of grit bins (looked like they had something in them from a distance) - but they are always in places where you can't park the car!
Ended up having to buy some! Focus have big bags of the stuff for £5.16

Christmas before last, I spent weeks looking for a Wii, drove miles and never got one...
...only wanted the base model, didn't need a special "pack"...
... all the shops were empty...
...the one I saw with a delivery, they were all reserved...
...do you think Nintendo will send me any money toward my petrol?

Maybe so, but how much grit did you manage to carry back - whilst walking!

Why did you have to drive all that way?
Were you being public spirited? I take it that if you had found a bin with some in, you would have spread it on the highway adjacent to the bin. After all, that's what the grit is intended for.
Or were you trying to thieve some grit for your own private use? Perhaps you ought to try B&Q.

You'd have been better going to Tesco and getting a couple of bags of dishwasher salt - 98p per bag and just the job.

Ah, that's a good idea, never thought of that. I'll remember for next time. Thanks

Do you pay Nintendo monthly to provide the service of ensuring Wii's are in stock everywhere whenever you want one?
Not quite the same now is it?
