Not bad, not bad.
My PC struggles a little to run it on a decent spec, but the multiplayer games are full of bunny hopping gits, leaping around chucking grenades. No teamwork, no tactics, just jumping around playing the rambo
Americas Army is much better...

It would be nice to have a proper multiplayer SheffieldForum game on Battlefield 2- we'll have to sort a game out between us!
What say you all?

Multiplayer works fab on the demo version that Im using at the minute.. I just need to get the hang of the bloody aircraft... ye gods!!
They just go too fast for little old me to control.
If anyone is up for a game, we will have to have a meet up in one of the online-rooms in there and have a ball.

WARNING:
I have just got the full version of this game from the shops and..
a: You need a very decent spec machine to play it and also
b: Unless you have the patience of a saint, dont even bother
with the single-player mode.
It will **** you right off in no time at all...
RANT ON
The game is ridiculously hard even on easy mode, people will shoot and kill you from nowhere at all and even shooting a tank at point blank range with an anti-tank missle will not destroy the tank straight away like in real life, oh no, in this game it takes 3 hits.
Before it finds out where you are, and kills you.
The aircraft I find impossible to master properly also.
So all in all - I am taking the full version back to the shops, unless you are extremely good at FPS games... dont bother.
Its just too damn difficult.. multiplayer is fun though.

If you're looking for a good FPS game, I would recommend Half Life 2. It has some of the best reviews ever given to an FPS game, and it is very addictive!

It just gets irritating after about 30mins..
Thats why it went back to the shops.

what i found anoying about the demo was you cant rebind some keys. For example i use delete and end to move left and right in all games(yeah im weird), but it wont let me. Looked it up on the net and some keys appear to be hard bound to the map or somthing.
It does have some lovley graphics though

Good game. I really enjoy it.
Are there any other online multiplayer games that you can download off the internet?

I've got Matrix Online now... Im not too sure whether I will playing it for months on end though.
Especially at £8 a month.
Its kind of OK at the beginning but its starting to get a little boring now and the missions all seem too samey for my liking.

Is anyone up for a bit of SF online gaming then?
It would be nice to have a game with you all on Battlefield 2 or something else.

I'd be up for that. Is there anyway of making a game exclusive to SF members?

I'll look into it now.. just a private room for all us Forumers to play in, so we dont have any problems with idiots and the like.
EDIT: Just wondering, what would happen say if I used my PC as a server and just allowed forumers to play using an IP address I specified to them- would my PC be able to handle it?
Its a P4- and would it affect my bandwith or anything.
And how do I go about setting it all up??
Anyone help please?
