I did the BIIAB level 2 a while back, to be honest there's no reason at all why anyone should fail. Just pay attention during the couple of hours of the course and use your common sense it's all pretty straight forward.
The only person I know who failed only did so because they went on the old course where you had to get all 10 of the first 10 questions correct or you were automatically failed.

My daughter has done it, and if she can pass anyone can. Just use your common sense. You will get a lot of questions about shop licences as well, so be prepared.

It can't be that difficult - I got 13/15 on an online test based only on general knowledge and sensible guesswork:

most of it is common sense, but there are some that are specific to laws or facts.
theres no reason why you should not pass just on the commonsense questions though, the yhave made it easier to pass now though, it used to be that you had to answer all first 10 questions correctly to pass.

you have to get the first 5 questions correct then take another 30 questions. out of the 30 you need to get 25/30 correct.

As long as you have a good memory and common sense you should be OK.
My OH took the course at the beginning of May, he only got one question wrong. It cost £125 + VAT, so £146.88 altogether.
Theres also the police check to pay for, which was about £29 I think, plus the licence fee, which is £37.

The exam is easy, if you pay attention during the short class before you shouldn't have any issues at all!

NCPLH is pretty easy, just don't forget the responsibilities afterwards. ie you get arrested for any violence or alcohol offences and your licence is revoked.
A fellow licensee was also arrested with his mate who was driving in excess of the alcohol limit. No pleading ignorance on that one if you have an NCPLH!
Other than that the test is common sense, CRB isn't expensive and you keep your licence for life!
Good luck!

i passed 36 / 40
crb was £23 , just need to find someone to sign off my pictures now??
a misconception there. the personal licence lasts forever providing you renew it every 10 years so renewing it 3 months in advance. if it overlapses then its effectively expired so you would have to go through whole process again . ie. retaking test again.
