Go to "Giovannis" at Renishaw, we went last night for my birthday, i couldnt fault it the food was really authentic Italian, but you could get a steak if you wanted or a Christmas meal, but i fancied Italian (well when in Rome). We werent disappointed, the food was superb! the service and the welcome was second to none, it was neither small or large, but the atmosphere was very cosy and intimate, and the people at the next tables werent "on top" of you.

We had 3 courses, 2 large glasses of red wine, two soft drinks, and a cafe latte
All for £40.

We will definatley be going again, but you should ring and book, its not been opened long but proving to be very popular
