Have any of you moved from Barnet in North London to Sheffield? If you have what do you think of Barnet?

My boyfriend's mate said Barnet wasn't nice.

Passed through once before and wasn't too impressed.

Are you talking about the borough or the town itself? I live in the borough. The town itself is run down in places but generally alright. It does have some nice houses surrounding some parts of it though.

The borough of Barnet is generally nice. It has some of the best schools in the country (both comprehensive and grammar) and probably the best shopping centre in North London. It also has some very nice areas to live, such as Hampstead Garden Suburb, Mill Hill and Totteridge.

Wouldn't you be better asking the question on a forum that wasnt based 160 miles away?
