And no! i'm definately not pregnant!

had this for the past 2 weeks, very queasy feeling most of the day, not particulary better or worse with eating or not eating, went to Pharmacy and they suggest Pepto-Bismol (which is like drinking pink germolene!) tried eating ginger biscuits and plain foods but nothing seems to be helping.
Have got lots going off, changing jobs meaning my wage halved with is having a knock-on effect to bills etc.....
I'm trying not to stress but this is the only thing i think it could be...

Any advice on what i could do/try???

Exercise....even it its just taking a brisk walk....or lots of sex! Exercise and sex cause your body to release endorphins which improves your sense of well-being and both are great stress relievers.

Then, assuming you are eating properly and getting enough rest.....you could have anemia or perhaps you are depressed. Have you considered a visit to your GP?

Cut down on caffeine, ensure you do some exercise, set yourself small achievable targets allow yourself little rewards. Ensure you have time out to relax, have a bath with radox.

If you are really struggling, don't be shy or afraid to talk to your doctor.

Ive had this. Constant nausea. Lost loads of weight too cos I didnt like my food as much. Not sure what advice to give cos I just put up with it and eventually it wore off. Def visit the doc though cos these things could be symptoms of an underlying cause.

Depends on your character, ultimately. I've just had three weeks of being taken to the cleaners at work . . . meeting after meeting, had to dig myself out of one HUGE hole. My point is that each day I was so close to ringing the GP, as I genuinelly felt a bit ILL, mental wise, and wasn't sleeping. Basically, though, I took some pills so I could sleep (Jeezus, 3 hrs sleep a night trebles the prob!) strapped myself in, and waited for the ride to end - which it has, bacause it always does.

So hang in there, if you can. If not, get some bloody tablets down you! That's what the docs there for. It doesn't make you a head case. Just another fallible human being going through a hellish time.

Good luck . . .

i went from 13 stones in weight down to 9 stones, the thing was, i didnt realise it was due to stress, i honestly thought i had cancer due to the weight loss,it was only after visiting the doctor and having tests that i pulled up,the doctor told me stress comes in many forms, some we dont recognise as stressfull,i had no debts, was reasonably happily married so couldnt figure out just why i was suffering, i spent many sleepless nights laid awake wondering why i suddenly lost that amount of weight,it got so bad i started with panic attacks, even ended up having two strokes,it was only whilst talking to a speach therapist ( due to one of the strokes i was having choking fits) that she happened to ask me if my mother and father had any strokes, then it all came out,the reason,10 years later i was having stress and strokes was that since my mother died, then my father i had found a friend dead then another close friend died of heart failure, yet another died of cancer and then two more,it had all built up inside me and it was grief that was causing all the trouble,i never realised at the time, just said my farewells at the funerals, but it had long term effects on me..

thanks for all the messages guys, i do have lots of stressful things going on and i thought it would take a toll on my mental health (i do have depression) but that side of me seems ok, it's just the physical side that's taking a downturn.....

the more you worry, the worse you get, it's a vicious circle...

I've had some sort of bug for the last two weeks (as has Mr Strix)

tired all the time, nauseous without actually being sick, dehydrating, headaches... not far off feeling hungover really, but for no reason

could it be that?

hmmm, could be it

I'd get down to the docs and make sure (or see if some paracetamol and a hot cordial drink or lemsip max does the trick for a couple of hours. If so, chances are you've got the bug )
