Name changed - can't remember what to. Wasn't aware it had closed down I drive past it on my way to work but have been off this week.
I'm sure it was open last week.
Right it was called Hitchens changed it's name to littlewoods round about 1997 littlewood sold it on round about 2001 the new owners bought the name Hitchens with the shop from littlewoods and changed the name back.

I've been in a few times and it's grim in there... never seemed to be doing much business.
Maybe back in the 1970s, there were loads of people living nearby but now Attercliffe Road has nowt but knocking shops
Meadowhall being five minutes that way <-- and the city centre 5 minutes that way --> won't have helped.
