This thread is very similar to the one about Merlin estates some months ago. I think someone came on then with their first post to say it was nonsense.........remind me, where are they now?
they were building flats on riverdale road....do you know whats happening to them sham? the flats i mean. they're half built and some folk are living in some.

You don't have them failing to do anything constructive to sell your house, take rubbish photos. fail to deliver a sign board, lose your details, not put the right details on Rightmove, not even have your advert anywhere on display in the main branch, not answer the phones, take 2 weeks to give you feedback for a viewing, not have any constructive advice to offer with regards to selling your house, not hear from them for 2-3 months, yet expect their 1% for doing absolutely **** all...I could go on, so pardon me if I couldn't give 2 hoots about useless , nail painting, non message taking receptionist/sales advisor/negotiator losing their job.
Totally agree! When we sold our house through Saxton Mee a while ago,I had to rewrite the whole brochure with them,as it contained 7 spelling mistakes, wrong measurements and a mix up of photos and descriptions. Absolutely primary school mistakes of the highest order.James Mee was supposed to ring to apologise but never did,I think he must have been too embarassed for words.......................still! what do you expect for three and a half grand!
Just heard from one of their creditors, that yes it’s gone bust. Apparently the directors have bought it back over night and the creditors are going mad!

If that's the case, then I would keep a low profile if I was a director of Saxton Mee,you read of some funny things happening to people who do tricks like that!
The Sheffield Telegraph have answered all the questions from my original post today. Due to lack of posts I am unable to post the link, just type Saxton Mee News in Google.
Thankyou to all respondents and "The Sheffield Telegraph"
not sure i agree with how saxton mee have gone about it. surely by what they have done it means they dont have to pay the creditors back money........dont have to pay out for redundancy pay etc.
the company has gone into administration, but the company has been seperated into 3 different companies. estate agency/ new homes and lettings and saxton mee commerical. these will be operating as three different companies
i have heard... that they have gone down for £700,000 and that they reformed splitting into 3 companies... commercial as was but without James mee... new homes as it was without James mee... and saxton mee has been split in two Bannercross, Hathersage bakewell and dronfield going to James mee and Tim Heaton and the crookes and hillsborough to Linda Crapper (new homes director) she will operate her own seperate lettings..
It smells very bad.. they bought the for sale stock off the old company for £1
Apparently James Mee was out shooting with the chief administrator the week before..
just not good form.. they even had the nerve to try and put a positive we are restructuring spin on it..... tut tut
I understood that Simon Lee was an director of Saxtonmee, but there isn't any mention of him (in the recent press articles in the Star or Telegraph) as being a director of any of the new Saxtonmee companies that proceed the old Saxtonmee as we knew it. Has he moved on?
