Morning,
Last weekend up at the Supermarket, someone kindly opened their car door into mine and left a straight dent down my door.
Sadly I was in the shop at the time and came back to find it like this - with NO note or anything, they must have known that they did it, sadly some people have no manners!
There is no paint damage, jsut a dent about 7 inches long where the door has been pushed in.
I am sure that someone could prob push it back out and make it look good (prob from inside or something), can anyone suggest a decent garage or panel benders to help us out (cheap would be ace as payday is a long way off).
Thanks very mcuh

Try Rodney at Rutland Autos. Whatever you do dont try it yourself, even really easy looking ones can go badly wrong.

Do a search for "smart repair"...but wouldn't recommend "Chipsaway". A few years ago Dentmaster removed a crease / dint from the roof of my car after some oik had booted a football onto it. Dentmaster carried out the repair on my drive. Did a really good job because I couldn't see any sign of the damage afterwards. Cost about £50. Not sure whether they're trading or have an agent in this area though.

Otherwise I'd rate John Bees on Abbeydale Road.

take the door card off and pop it out.
should just be able to push it out easily, i have done this on the misuss's car before now.
if its not perfect after that then go to a bodyshop of sorts, shouldnt cost much to sort i would hope, especially if the paintwork is ok

I agree here. Have a bash your self first. If your gentle you wont make it worse. The inside panel isn't usualy that hard to remove and just gently bang it out. Might leave a crease depending on the damage or just pop out as new. I also did my partners boot after someone smashed into the offside lights and boot. £45 for a new light casing an it was back to normal (nearly, a small dent still there).
