Disaster, have hardly any fuel left in the tank, this morning I tried Waitrose petrol station which was all sealed off, so came home and decided to try the Texaco one Eccy Road, opposite Somerfield just now, which is also sealed off.

Does anyone know if anything is happening?

The price of petrol has dropped over the past couple of days.
Maybe people have been panic buying before the price goes up again

Yep, or maybe we've finally reached the status of a third-world country

The Texaco on Ecclesall Road, as well as being the most expensive petrol station in the world, more often than not has no petrol... It's a nightmare, though apparently soon to be turned into flats. Which is useful.

Panic buying. I witnessed it at my local Morrisons earlier. The fools were fuelling like there was no tomorrow. I just put in a tenner to last me until it goes down again next week.

I kno Waitrose are having work done and are down to only 2 pumps, and the petrol was 99.9 so there were alot of people queueing so they may have run out due to only havin 2 pumps working due to refurbishment?

There are plans afoot to redevelop the Texaco site, so when I saw it taped off I assumed it had closed down permanently.
