Match fixing allegation.

Could be trouble in store for Norwich.

The match summary would pass you by unless you'd read the first report

"But Marshall ran out to a loose ball way too early, gifting it to Ellington, who tapped the ball into the empty net from outside the area."

Will be interesting to see if there's anything to it.

It sounds very dubious with a massive change in betting patterns and then Marshall making the howler. I hope he gets banned for life if he is guilty as we don't want these kinds of things in the English game - this is a Championship match as well not some regional backwater friendly game or something (not that it's acceptable in those games either but you know what I mean).

It doesn't sound like they planned for this too meticulously if it is all true either. Ive heard before that betting patterns are monitored and while some people probably do get away with it I bet it's not a 'massive' scale.
'Here's the plan you roll the ball out to their striker and let them win and we'll put loads of money on them winnin' and split it with ya'....YAYYYYYYY 'Nobody will find out as it's only a Championship match, just don't buy anything expensive for a while'.

Depends when the "strange betting patterns" actually happened. West Ham had their keeper sent off too, so it's not necessarily the Norwich player involved - that's if there's anything in it at all.

Could be to do with Carroll actually (you mean Derby not West Ham?) as there is no mention of which was backed in the strange betting patterns (could've been the draw that was backed. I just assumed it was Marshall and that it was Derby that were backed.
