I am getting many enquiries now from different people everywhere about what to do when a diagnosis of Asperger Syndrome is given.

Many people are struggling with their kids behaviour in schools and it becoming more and more prominent as the days go by.

Children I feel are not getting the necessary understanding, even though there is now more awareness than ever.
If parents are worried, please let me know so that at least we can get an idea of the numbers of people in Sheffield that are involved.
Many parents will opt to home educate as they feel that this is the best option for their child/children.It is obviously still important that the children do mix and interract socially with other children as they need to learn those life skills.

Please email me if you have enquiries and we will see what can be done.
I was asked many questions on Friday at World Mental Health Day in Fargate.
Problem is though, Asperger Syndrome does not fit in to the mental health services as it isnt really a mental health problem.Where to put it is the problem for the service providers and that is a very difficult one to answer.
