They were never 'with it' to begin with. Look as some previous threads on here and you'll see we all came to the conclusion that it's nobbut a jumble sale

Ah, but some of us like jumble sales - especially when there's the occasional bargain to be had!!

But selling swordsticks (which I'm sure are illegal) and not even realising it does point to certain improvements being necessary in their buying department.

LOL, I can't say I've ever been in a TK MAXX store but judging the latest news I don't thing I'll bother, might go in to buy a pair of specs or sommat and they might have a death laser or sommat built in.

The article gives the impression the store didn't know the sticks and coats contained knives.

Surely they must have known?

you would think so wouldn't ya? I mean you could go in one day to buy a bag of flour and it could turn out to be some other white substance but as long as they didn't know well it must be acceptable!

wouldnt the buyers have bought something that said

outdoor coat, warm, rugged and includes sewn in knives, surely they see the object and a description before they buy things in????
