Depends what area you are looking for, We often go to the Wheatsheaf at Parkhead, Ecclesall Road South, it is a toby Cavery at £5 per head before 7.00pm and not much more after 7.00pm, Drinks are really good value and the cavery is great they even have a vegitarian option.

Depends where you are and what you like and what you call not to pricey! Loads of pups sell pretty generic pub food at resonable prices, if you want something nicer try the Stag on Psalter Lane or Robin hood in Stannington. Robin Hood is a bit more expensive though.
I dont think anywhere in the world sell just english food! Maybe the chippy! theres loads of nice places in Sheffield to eat. London road has a massive selection, eccy road, ddevonshire street to name a few.
Damons is ok but in my opinion no where near as good as it used to be! The portion sizes aren't great and it's rather expensive for what you actually get. It does have a nice bar area and sells lovely cocktails though!

American Diners apart from fries everything else p recooked. Nice diner is Yankees on Ecky road
The Milestone, Kelham Island
Catch/Artisan, Crosspool
Ivory, just off West Street
All these do modern English-type cuisine with an innovative twist. None of them are cheap but the food at all of them is very good indeed. I went to Rafters for the first time last week having heard rave reviews and was disappointed - it is not as good as these places.
