Do you think SF would be improved if we had a Pedants' Corner? Like an area where those arguing between themselves about the semantics of a thread title* could go and have an argument/sex in peace?
* Or similar pedantry.

I somehow suspect this is aimed partly at me over my "pedantry" with regard to spelling!
It's not my fault a lot of people on here have the spelling and grammatical skill of a gnat.

some of us can spell / do grammar quite well, but dont bother, its a forum after all, not a job application or school exam so we can let our hair down slightly

Shouldn't it be called a pedant's corner, or even a pedants corner?

The first would be a place for lone pedants, while the latter would belong to nobody, it would just suggest something like a whole load of pedants *shudder*.
No it has to be Pedants' Corner, a place for pairs or larger groups of pedants to go and discuss how many angels can dance on a pinhead. And stop mucking up threads.

First invitations must go to:
In no particular order, them two would hang around it like a fly on the proverbial just waiting for their prey, with that in mind it sounds like a great idea, it would get them off our back for a bit...

Being able to spell and being able to correctly use grammar are separate issues. Your post should therefore read:
'It's not my fault a lot of people on here have the spelling and grammatical skill s of a gnat.'

We could have a Pedants' Death Match.
"The thread title says X. You are off topic."
"I'm not off topic. You are!"
"Excuse me but I know I'm right. You are an idiot."
"What does this have to do with the thread title?"
And so on until they all have sex.
