I have noticd that there are a number of forummers who start a large number of threads - Cresida?, Jaberwocky?, *carrie*?, neee`k??

Who starts the threads that you post on most, or who has the best topics?

Most of the ones I enjoyed reading were started by people who were banned shortly afterwards..

I blame the humourless communist mods who don't think peoples alternative views could be, and are fun.

She's well on her way to cult status though! Over a thousand posts in a month?!

Probably jabber and basil are the people that start the most humerous threads. I like slickwitch and pattricias threads too. But to be fair I also just read anything once I have read the funny ones no matter how boring they are.

Jabberwocky's are funny. Carrie contributes a lot even if she is new (don't think being new should matter).

Mostly I don't pay much attention to who starts a thread, just read it if the title looks interesting, and add something if it is.

It can get a bit annoying when someone starts a popular thread & someone else then posts a similar type thread

I like the threads which make me think a bit and where I can look at things from different points of views.

Carrie, Melthebell, Catz , Chemist1, Cressida, PT, WildCat, Chiefkicker, Discodown, NinjaMagic, StarSparkle, HappyHippy, Waxonwaxoff, BF (where is he ) & Rich.....just to name a few. I enjoy reading all the threads but they were the SF user names that I could think of from the top of my head. Sorry if I have missed anyone out

In my opinion some of the best threads are not the funny ones at all. During and following last summer's floods there were an awful lot of very helpful factual based threads which are helpful to the community. The same applies to threads on every serious road blockage and the like and the thread about St Luke's Hospice potentially moving to Graves Park reached almost 5,000 posts in a little over a year.
