Mathom, you kill me.

Keep it up, it's fab!

I think anyone who thinks someone is paying purely the privilege to be seen out with them is very naive indeed, unless you're looking at the top, top end of the market. It's prostitution, pure and simple, except with a prelude. It's for people who can't deal with the of prospect of entering into a business transaction purely for a quickie.

not all escort agencies offer sex.
a number of them make it very, very clear that sex is unavailable.

They probably don't or they'd be called brothels and be in trouble with the law

But it's an unwritten rule that Mr Sweaty McNasty will likely offer his 'date' an extra 20 notes if she'll let him have a ride. And she probably will, when he's got her pressed up against a wall and is breathing whisky breath all over her at the end of the night, if only to get shot of him.

I agree, it's a tacit agreement that if the client wants sex then the escort is expected to put out. Otherwise s/he'll will no longer be in demand. The agencies only stipulate this to absolve themselves of any responsibilities to prevent them from falling foul of the law and running a prostitution business.

Prostitution itself is legal, but many of the activities involved with it are illegal such as soliciting

so it is, illegal?

Interesting. Seems a bit behind the times. Maybe thats why escorts in England are expected to offer extras.

Nope. No raw nerves hit. It's just easier to read and people are more likely to take the time to do so if it is written in sentences.
