Can anyone help me please, my cooker is about to die and I have been looking round for one of the same size and cannot find one. The size is 51cm width and 51cm depth. I have checked to see if I could buy the same modle but they dont make anymore. I cannot extend the gap it has to fit in because of the kitchen units. Have checked online with no joy, hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.

This is a fairly standard size for the smaller type of free standing cookers. Comet have an Indesit at 149.99.

Gas or electric?

We had this problem when we were choosing a new cooker (ours is gas), we were looking for a 50cm one and there aren't many about. We eventually found a Zanussi one that looked good, but it was out of stock everywhere and we've had it on order since June. I called the supplier today and they said they might, MIGHT, be able to get it to us around September 4th.

I assume the OP means 61cm rather than 51cm DEPTH (610mm/61cm being a standard worktop depth)

The Indesit you mention protrudes slightly (as do most free-standing cookers) at about 620mm from the wall and is, if you want precision, 496mm width.

It is, however, rather basic with a combined oven/grill with a deflector plate to clip on when grilling. Mine suits me, but may not suit everyone.

Oh, if you were looking for this model, Gasflair I believe keep them in stock rather than Comet's to-order, though their price is £179 they will match the Comet price if you ask
