CNN.com Daily Top 10 spam is flooding us at the moment. It seems to have found all of our email addresses, added a few random ones, and then sends to all our domains.

Our systems seem to be ok, but we are with Plus Net so I'm wondering if their database been hacked into again?

Certainly not as far as I know... I'll do some digging though and post back.

EDIT:

Well there's nothing been hacked into, but that CNN mail is certainly doing the rounds.. we have put a new virus database on the mail platform and that should start picking up the CNN stuff soon. It's already stopping the UPS stuff that was going round a couple of days ago.

thanks for checking and it's good to know that its not a hack. I've not had the chance to determine exactly which addresses / domains are being hit but I'll post it here if there is a clearer pattern.

I've been getting it as well, on Orange webmail.

I just delete it along with everything else I get spammed about.
