TAKE A LOOK AT HOW MUCH HAS BEEN DONE!
Have you seen me? Yes me and a team of unruly volunteers including Muddyfox of the forum have been beavering away
(passers by seem to be of the opinion we are doing community service)
We are tidying up the neglected greenspace near the tardis loo and making it beautiful. Clearance of the site is 'nearly' complete after a month of mondays and next up is beautification and making it lovely for wildlife and to look at.
Anyone fancy joining me?

Typical, 60 odd reads of the post and two replies. Why does nobody like a good news story

Didn't see the post til now Fox, and my travels don't tend to take me along Holme Lane. Well done with the efforts, sorry I can't offer to help atm, just so strapped for time for all sorts of reasons. I can't do too much heavy stuff either nowadays, the joys of getting older etc...

You post.
Folk read.
Do you start to get withdrawal symptoms without all the praise?

Will do, by the way what's with all the rubbish someone has dumped back in the river- looks a right eyesore at the weir at the opposite corner of Holme Lane. Such a shame after all that hard work local people have done recently there.

Will it still be used as the local dog toilet?
Can't believe how many people use it as such. Well done though for all the effort. I hope people will appreciate it.

Uncalled for. Perhaps if you got off your backside and helped you'd be better employed than insulting someone who works hard for their community.

You really are an arrogant individual, aren't you. Maybe some people work?

Or... Maybe if the last council members had spent some money on the area (instead of using public funds to push school mergers, tram gates etc on us) then members of the general public wouldn't be forced to clean up areas for which the council have responsibility?
