Does anybody have memories of Wincobank & Blackburn Working Mens Club and it's characters. I went there as a kid with my Parents on Saturday & Sunday nights from 1953 to about 1958. When I was old enough I became a member. I remember the concert secretary Doug Jessop. He didn't stand for any nonsence whilst the "turn" was performing If there was any noise he would turn the lights on and shout "order please".
