1. West Side Story
2. An American in Paris
3. Jesus Christ Superstar

Mainly movies, I guess, although most film musicals have had a stage production first.

I would have voted for West Side Story in Channel 4's poll, but you have to pick 10 musicals and I don't think I've seen that many.

Carousel, "when you walk through a storm hold your head up high"
Oklahoma, "when the wind comes right behind the rain"

My mum and I used to be in Croft House Operatic Society. She sang in the chorus and I was a dancer. I was also in Roses Operatic and she was in Teachers for over 25 years. We did a lot of great shows.
