Where did this disappear to? It used to be just off the motorway near Junction 33....

in fact it was a bison and was taken away when Avesta mergedwith a Finnish company to become Outokumpu and got a new brand - the blue/green circle thing they have now.
The bison is I hear still waiting for a new home - its worth a fortune BTW.

Talking of Avesta or Outo Kumpo as it's now known, just out of interest does anybody work there?

I didn't see it when I went to Magna last year
This question was asked by Big John on HallamFM a few months back. A bloke rang in to say it's in a warehouse where he works (secret location to avoid kidnapping, I think).
At least we know it wasn't melted down

Is there a massive market for second-hand metallic bovine statues, then? If so the Yorks sculpture park should watch out that nobody rustles the rather fine bronze water buffalo in its collection.
My ex girlfriend's mother went to India and took lots of pictures of untouchable sacred cows with painted hand prints on them. She wants to produce a book called Holy Cow. Most amoosing, I thought...

Burgered if I know, actually. But recently read that Farmer's Breakfast is a glass of water followed by a bowel movement. If that helps.
