I've used both items over the weekend and they are fantastic. The SLR cleaning kits run about £5 on eBay with postage, the only trouble is you don't get enough cotton buds.
I got one recently for my latest trip when I lost the cleaning kit during my last trip. However I did not use the cleaning liquid that come with it as I still have the old one. I don't find any different for the brush and cleaning cloth compared to those sold in photog shop. The cleaning tissue is a bit of lower quality but useable. Good value for money.
