Was wondering if someone could help me.

Very much doubt they're open on a sunday. If you can find the specification of the oil though Halfords might have it

With the quality of Peugeot and Citroen dealership services, I'd take it to a reputable garage and ask them to get the oil from a dealers and do it themselves!

They're absolutely diabolical!

gearbox oil change? Who told you that? Its a right load of tripe. Your gearbox should never really require an "oil change" as long as there is oil in your gearbox and it hasnt gone "bang" it most certainly doesnt require an oil change. the box doesnt even have a drain plug FFS. So tell the person who told you this to get a brain.

Is that right ducatiboy?

Peugeot gearboxes use a different grade of oil to most other car gearboxes. What quite commonly occurs is that if for example a driveshaft or clutch is replaced (meaning the old oil is drained from the box), the oil gets replaced with the incorrect grade. This then leads to gears being difficult to select and the synchromesh not working properly, especially when cold. Draining the incorrect grade of oil and filling with the correct Peugeot specific grade most of the time cures these problems as the designed clearances in the synchromesh then work properly once more.

Peugeot gearboxes, be it MA or BE type all DO have a drain plug situated on the bottom of the split casing for the diff, a breather plug at the top and also a level plug on the side of the 5th gear extension housing.

So I suggest it is YOU who needs to "get a brain" and stick to talking about things you know about, and leave things you OBVIOUSLY DON'T know about to others.

Show me on the service schedule where they state you need an oil change on your gearbox Except when maintenance has been carried out. Obviously anyone who carried out the maintenance wouldnt put the old oil back. and ill grow a new brain ....FOR YOU! I bet you change the head gasket on your car every 6 months or 6000 miles whichever comes first !!!!
