Ive got my leaver's "do" next month and was wondering where i could get a dress from. Im looking for something a bit different, about knee length and i DONT want a black dress - preferably something summery.

I've been to Debenhams in Meadowhall and although there are some stunning dresses they seem a bit more suitable for wedding parties etc.

Any suggestions ladies?

River Island have some lovely ones.

There's also a place on sharrowvale rd called Rio (i think) and they have some gorgeous designs. I helped my sis pick her prom dress there last week. They also make a note of which school/college you're leaving and the dress you've bought, to make sure no-one else gets the same thing.

I wish I'd never found it, it's the perfect place to spend my lunch hour (and my money)

ASOS.com is really good for dresses and cheap. If you want something a bit different and don't mind paying extra Collard Manson on Division street do some cool clothing. Also Freshmans and the shops in the forum. For more conventional stuff, Primark, River Island, sometimes H&M and Oasis all do decent dresses.

Yeah, they always seem to have a wide range to suit most shapes and budget.

Warehouse and Oasis are good High Street choices.

I find that asos has got a bit pricey lately. Might be worth having a look on boohoo cos they do nice, cheap dresses if you're on a budget.

Hope that link works! If not, it's www.boohoo.com
