Just wondering what kind of prices are charged for a cut and blow dry in a local neighbourhood ladies hairdressers. Everytime I go it seems to go up 50p to a £1. I am now paying almost £20.

I pay exactly £20 atm ... and £10 for a blowdry and straighten. But it is a decent salon and an experienced stylist. I'm not sure I'd expect or be willing to pay that at a perm and curl place, though

I get a choice of beverage, including juice, water, fruit tea, tea or coffee ... and sometimes I even get a bun! The bitching and goss is thrown in totally free of charge, although it's not local goss, just beauty stuff, it's a high class place, ya know.

I pay about £35 for a cut and diffuser dry (don't do normal blow dryers).

I go to Moorview Hair and Beauty and have done for about 6 years now. I've heard about Loaf but people generally seem to think it's a bit overpriced for what it is. What's your opinion, are you happy with the styling etc?

Well my local charged me £100+ the other week for cut and blow dry, full head of highlights & complimentary head massage. Nearly fell over as that was with 25% discount. Maybe I should just accept the greying gracefully?
NOT.
