Hi,

I am looking for somewhere to buy dried pulses, nuts, seeds, gram flour, oats, fructose that sort of thing without paying the earth for it, and thought a healthfood shop or weigh shop may be the better option than a supermarket.

Can anyone recommend somewhere that sells that sort of thing as a sensible price?

I must confess I haven't checked prices and availability at the Supermarket but I know specialist flours and nuts especially seem rather expensive.

Thanks in advance!

Do you know if they are actually cheaper than a supermarket - their dried fruit always seems quite expensive?

In Hillsborough there is Harvestime which sells pre-bagged stuff, and is a bit cheaper than H&B.

Not near town or Hillborough, but try Aldi for dried pulses and nuts and seeds - very reasonable. Also the Nut Bar in Meadowhall are cheaper than Holland and Barratt.

Thanks Feargal! I work near Aldi so can pop in and look there!

I know its a bit lazy but just don't have time to look in all the different places to see where is cheapest, but can't afford to pay way over the odds either!
