Hi, Im looking for a good kickboxing club
im 23 and weigh about 12 stone
if anyone can point me in the right direction it would help very much

If you stick kickboxing into the "search forum" facility you will find much discussion of the various gyms. The only one I have tried to any extent (and so the only one I can really comment on) is Wicker Camp which is an excellent gym teaching Thai Boxing

I.m also looking to join a Kickboxing Club but not sure if i am very good.
I have watch alot of films and it looks like Kickboxing is Great.
Where do i go to sign up please.

Is there a new person section where i can go for info ?? it would be better for me than asking any silly questions.
( where to buy my boxing gloves and boots )
( do i need to buy shorts to fight in or would it be ok in me tracky bottoms )
( do i need the head guard as i am new here )
Please could someone point me in the right direction

join a club then sort out your equipment.

google is your friend,
type your location and kickboxing and see what comes up

Thanks for the reply, i did go and have a look at Karate but decided that is was not for me.
I like the thought of mixing boxing with leg kicking ( hope i have understood this right ). When i had a look at Karate there didn't seem to be the same ring craft ( I do not want to upset anyone who does karate here, i am new to this ) but there seems to be more action with KickBoxing.

Chepkicker, Thank you, yes i will call you and ask questions if this is ok with you.

Jennycakes...Thank You, Good idea " Try before i buy " makes sense to me.
