Thanks everyone I am trying my best to raise money for both of these very good causes it is proving a tough challenge but i won't give up as i am doing this for my Little boys & all the Parents who are in the same boat as me & my partner & also for all the premature & sick Babies that are admitted the the S.C.B.U at Jessops & also for the Wonderful staff on the S.C.B.U who are a credit to the NHS they Deserve every credit & penny that they get.

I have along way to go in my Fundraising efforts, I am planning on riding to Birmingham & also to Scarborough to raise Funds for both the Sands & Jessops I have got to save up some money first to have some repairs to done to my bike so that i don't end up killing myself Halfway to Scarborough.

If anyone is Interested in Riding with me and would like to support me in my Quest to raise funds feel free to PM me or Email me at Junior_l@hotmail.co.uk

I would just like to Thank All of those who have Donated kindly so far to both the SANDS & Jessops i sincerely appreciate your help in raising money for what are both Extremely good Causes.

Thanks for the kind words & Support

Regards

The Star said "But despite an appeal in The Star and on an internet discussion forum nobody donated any cash"

Was that on this forum? I find it hard to believe nobody on here did anything.

The Star are Quoteing what i said to Claire Lewis a Few months back when i first time Appealed to the people of Sheffield for help in raiseing money for the SANDS & Jessops and Yes it is true that not 1 person donated to the Justgiving Sites the first time Appealed.

I had a look at the Justgiving pages last night & to my Knowledge only 1 person has come forward & donated kindly through one of the Justgiving Funds that i set up.

I thought all the donations were from SF members, there is at least 3 on your SANDS website that I know of, one of them me Maybe its because no one has actually said they are from SF, well apart from 1 person anyway.

Good Luck and I hope donations pick up soon.
Best wishes to you and Janet

Hi sorry for confusion, the way it is worded in The Star article made it sound as if no one had donated at all, thats why I was puzzled

Good luck with your cycling events

Thanks Lois & Van man for your support it means alot to me so Thank you very much.

Janets sister is going to the Headmaster at Eckington to see if they could help by doing a non uniform day to help both causes and as you say Van man every penny counts.

The Money goes Towards Helping Parents Through the Sands who have suffered the pain & hurt of losing a child or Children from a personal perspective i would especially like to help those people who have no one to turn too after such a Tragedy occurs, i was lucky to some Extent & still are very lucky to have such great support from Friends & family & on SF as well IMO.

The Money also goes Towards Helping Staff at the Special Care Unit provide first class care to for sick & premature Babys and it also goes towards help paying for staff equipment and training aswell I have alot of time for the staff at the S.C.B.U who in my opinion are a credit to the NHS and deserve every plaudit that comes there way.

Keep the Donations Coming people no matter how big or small they are every penny counts.

Thanks for your Help & support.

Kind Regards

This is Taken from the Justgiving Site Mac.

Donating

Can I make a donation to charity by phone or cheque through Justgiving?
No - you need to make your donation through our website using a credit/debit card.

We're not authorised to take payments over the phone and we can't take cheques on behalf of any charity. If you want to donate by phone or cheque, please contact the charity directly. Go to our homepage and search for a charity to find their Justgiving page and a link to their website.

Cheers
