Trying to use power washer to clean the steps and patio!

Have plugged it in to power, plugged the hose pipe into the correct bit

Then it makes strange noises but no water comes out of the nozzle - its not getting through?

HELP!

Have you been trying since 10.49? Ten points for perseverance. You could have got a scrubbing brush and some jeyes fluid and finished by now!

With one that I used, you had to pull the trigger thingie on the wand before you switched on the washer. If you switched on, then pulled the trigger, it wouldn't work.

I found that if I left it alone to sulk for a couple of hours, it then worked OK. I assumed it had some sort of cut out, which took a while to recover!

There's also usually a switch on the box which turns the power on.

Not really, I borrowed one once and rang my friend to tell him there was only a trickle coming out. Hence, I now know that there is a separate switch on the machine itself.
