Plug or Nylon - Sat 26th April

Bit of a dilemma here, heading out on Saturday with some mates. One from Leeds and one from Brum.

We all like our music of the house variety.

Looking at the calendar there is Speed Queen at Nylon and a night at Plug.

I cant decide which to go to ? Has Plug been busy lately ? Its been a while since ive been in Plug biut ive always had a good night but I hear the Nylon is pretty good too, although it is essentially a bar with a dancefloor

Also if there is any after hours clubs (open at 4am) that anyone knows of then that would be cool !

Speed Queen is gonna be mega awesome mate.

If you wanna party then come on down, expect stilt walkers, drag queens, stage dancers etc along the very best of funky house and funky dirty electro.

It's Twisted's 2nd Birthday this weekend so we've got a double header in the main room with Dirty South and Hoxton Whores and LJ Freeman.

I would go for speed queen, but depends on what you prefer. Speed Queen is very easy going, anything goes.

There MAY BE a Speed Queen After Party at The Red Room (aka Empire Bar) I'll let you know asap. There was an after party at the last Speed Queen so I'm presuming there will one be again.

We are defo doing Nylon now. Always had a good night at Plug but the fact that it also has 2 rooms of indie and party music has swayed my decision !

Will it be advisable to get down to Nylon early doors ?

The after party sounds like a plan to me

Nice one dude, you and your buddies are gonna have a TOP night!!!

It gets really busy quite early on, the last Speed Queen was rammed at about 11:20...I kid you not!

If you like your funky house then come quite early on as the music usually starts on the funkier side and progresses onto more dirty/filthy house from 12:00 onwards.

Its more gay friendly than gay orientated. Everyone is welcomed, and it just creates a mint atmosphere. Im straight and I love SQ, you'll have a wicked night mate

Nylon is fun, where as Plug is all about the money. Plug is boring after half an hour of being in there, and for the last three years every time i have been it has been exactly the same, boring. If you want a fun atmosphere and djs that play to the crowd I would go for Nylon every time, plug is far too impersonal.

It starts from 3:30pm and ends at 8:30am
