Hi,

Some friends of mine are visiting Sheffield this weekend and they're a bit mad on 90s britpop/indie music, is there anywhere I can take them that will cater to their taste?

On Saturday 5th preferably, if not, Friday 4th.

Failing that, retro or anything they can dance to will do.

Thanks,

Andrew.

Saturdays at The Old House on Devonshire Street, expect indie and britpop classics.

Best indie night by a mile on a Saturday is at the Leadmill. 10:30 - 3am, £5 to get in I think but well worth it! Blur, Oasis, Supergrass etc mixed in with more modern indie. Old House is a good shout to go drinking in first though!

Thanks for this we had a great night, didn't enjoy the Leadmill so much, thought it was a bit of a dive, but I think we were too far gone to care by that point.
