having been single now for a while and out of the loop we would like to know where to meet nice single men ; late 30's early 40's age bracket?
north sheffield preferable but will travel!!
any ideas?

Hello Fluff – Maybe you and Tara could go out together to meet single men (safety in numbers).
Without mentioning names, I know for a fact there are single men that use this forum in the age bracket you mentioned in your post. You might be able to strike up a friendship first and then see how things go

If you find any good places, I would also like to know!! Maybe we need a good Singles Bar (not a cattle market) in Sheffield.
There are 'Singles Nights' out of town, but they are a bit depressing to say the least.
I moved here 2 or 3 years ago am disappointed in the limited night life for 30 - 45 year olds, especially if you are single.

Hi there are 2 places I know where you can meet single people,one is at Sheffield United football club and the other is at the Dial House club both which meet on friday nights.
Hope you have fun and meet some nice people.

i know they do singles nights down at the lane on a friday night been a few times might be worth trying out

Yes, I know about the Bramhall Lane night - the best thing about that was the buffet!!
What / Where is the Dial House Club.........never heard of that. It's not a 'snog-a-dog' night is it?

The Dial House Club is at Wisewood,not sure if its a snog a dog as you say???

Dial house did have single,s nights.. GRAB A GRANNY they called them..... .. I think they called a halt to them due to lack of interest not sure..... but if you find somewhere let me know...

They used to have a **** a Fossil night at the Embassy on Mansfield Rd, but I don't know if it's still up and running.

just for a change to fluff's thread - best place to meet single women.not looking for anything serious, but they all seem to want 6ft bronzed Adonis or Enrique lookalikes.
being housetrained,well groomed,cook,irons & cleans & even like to shop but can't even seem to get into the loop.
