Spiders were created by Beelzebub to make my life a misery, I despise them, utterly utterly despise them.

Id kill each and every one I encountered but Im usually too busy running away and squeaking like a tart.

Bloody hell! How many legs does one creature need? Spiders are just show offs. Do not get me started on centipedes.

I don't mind the clever spiders that stay hidden and eat other creepy-crawleys but the stupid ones that run across the floor or glare at you from the ceiling....well they deserve everything they get

We save most all creatures that find their way into the house. We (my oldest and I) are particularly fond of jumping spiders.

They have stocky little bodies, they jump and flit about and some appear to have been painted in jewel tones: Silver, Gold, Bronze, Auqa Blue. They are lovely little creatures and they are always welcome at our house.

Any chance of hearing the OP's opinion for once?

Personally I like spiders.

I don't believe the tale that we swallow eight spiders in our sleep either - I would just know!

First thing I did this morning was rescue a spider from the kitchen sink.

they seem to be rather good at getting in there and bloody awful at getting out - they can't get a grip on the side of the sink and keep sliding back down, so I lift them out on and let them down in the kitchen.

The only problem is they like to try and climb on my hands and not let go...

I don't mind spiders providing that they're not big and not furry - if they are big and furry, then I be afraid of it. (Apologies to the Two Ronnies)

Well the answer for me has to be NO, I posted before about what happened one winter when one showed itself in the lounge - 2 policeman, 1 spider, topless, locked out, snow etc
