I've yet to go to anything at the NEC that wasn't worthwhile.

Wedding show
Crufts
Railtech (or something)
Homebuilding and renovating
BBC good homes
That car show whose name escapes me
Def Leppard

I went to the Call Centre Expo in September; I had no idea how massive the NEC is; I was imagining something the size of the Hallam FM Arena.

I remember being quite overawed when I realised I'd driven 5 miles within their boundaries to the final car park!

The train gets you closer. Birmingham international is part of the building. It's still an airport size hike to get in, but there are travellators. Some trains are direct from Sheffield
