how come so few people have taken this up?
this is the problem with cats having the status they do - having the freedom to wander
people get a cat as an easy pet when they can't look after a dog, bung it outside, and don't even
think about preventing kittens from coming about
at least most dogs are kept indoors and under control, so it's less of an issue in dogs
the irresponsible people who let all these kittens be born are going to be the ones who bring about laws to treat cats as vermin. In some areas nearly every house has at least two cats and often six cats. Have a dig about for the thread on the man in walkley who the RSPCA were investigating for killing so many. Somebody posted on the thread about how awful he was, but listed how many cats all of the neighbouring houses had, and I was
shocked. Who the heck wants to live with that many cats digging up their veg patch as a toilet?!?
