I watched the brits last night and thought the show was very poor . the usual outburst of bad language from sharon osbourne who's plastic face started to melt under the lights . nearly everyone seemed either stoned or blind drunk ,ozzies stash must have taken some right cosh. did anyone else think it was not very good ?.

i thought it was Brilliant! Amy Winehouse looked FANTASTIC and you could tell she was singing her little heart out to proove all the papers wrong, and as for the Arctic Monkeys coming on stage p****d, well, i thought it was hillarious, nothin wrong in letting your hair down once in a while lol

I watched the first 10 minutes thinking "it's got to get better" then I realised that even if it did, I just didn't care so I switched off

I was embarrassed watching Amy winehouse, yeah she can sing but she looked so uncomfortable and she cant dance for toffee!
I didn't enjoy any of it to be honest it was hard to watch and Sharon only shines her true personality when she's on the x factor, She was false like the rest of her family.

Quite appropriate really as you have to be drunk as a skunk to see any merit in their music.....

I always think that when she dances, she looks like she's just wet her knickers and is wriggling to get the damp gusset unstuck.

Anyway, I watched a bit til 9 and then put Torchwood on. Kylie was good but that's about it. Proper popstar unlike this Leona whatsername.

I did get sick and fed up with hearing about the 'Britschool'.

Oh my god!! Amy Winehouse what a mess, I couldnt work out if she was out of her face on drugs and booze or if she was clean either way she looked shocking, really uncomfortable, i couldnt quite work out why she wanted to obviously show everyone she had knickers on!

Unbelieveable Total Rubbish

How can anyone like these 'artists'?! Kylie sounds like a bad x factor contestant (first round), her music is possibly some of the most annoying on the planet.

The whole thing went to show the state of british pop music really. Boring!

Apart from Amy Winehouse that is

Take That won an award for Shine, I gave up on it there and then! That song sucks even worse than some of the old school Take That stuff IMO!

To be fair, I get the impression every year that the venue they use is too big and that some of the "jokes" fall flat ([i]everybody's fell flat, Vic Reeves, Alan Carr) because of the distance between the stage and audience.

I also think it's a bit of a mistake to put a load of screaming kids at the front, who are clearly not interested in the proceedings, just waiting for their favourite act to come on. There's no wonder there was so much mention of the "Brit Kids", it was an easy (or cop-out) way for the person on the stage to get a positive and noisy reaction from somewhere.

I'm not saying I liked the Osbournes - or actually, just Sharon - I didn't, I thought she was wooden and difficult to watch - although I think she got more and more nervous as the night went on. But I thought that Kelly and Jack did a surprisingly professional job - Kelly especially kept smiling, said her lines right, kept going when she fluffed and covered for her mum.

I really think the organisers need to rethink the venue, who the audience is, and where they place them.

Oh dear - the Osbournes made Sam Fox and Mick Fleetwood look like professional-level presenters!! It was all so relentlessly embarrassing I was cringing for everyone there.

By the end, I don't think anyone was sober or non-chemically-assisted - Ozzy Osbourne was left as the only voice of reason anywhere near the platform - and he was doing his best 'Frank Gallagher' impression!

After about the first 20 minutes, I was losing the will to live, but kept watching in the hope the Arctics would be on. They were SO worth the wait.

Alex is so cute when he's well-bladdered and a half! Loved the way Nick was having to hold him up at the podium! And I loved the fantastic outfits, and the way they were sending the whole sorry mess up! And that pipe given to Matt was a stroke of genius. At least they seemed to be really enjoying themselves

Bring on the REAL Awards - the BRATS! Please!!
